Community Guidelines

Adults only
PlayLocal is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not create accounts for minors or misrepresent your age.
Respect and inclusion
Harassment, hate speech, bullying, intimidation, discrimination and degrading conduct are prohibited.
Safe games
Use suitable public venues where practical. Do not threaten violence, bring weapons, pressure people to participate beyond their comfort or ability, or create an unreasonable safety risk.
Honest listings
Publish accurate game, venue, time, capacity, skill and eligibility information. Fake games, scams, bait-and-switch listings and undisclosed promotions are prohibited.
Sexual misconduct
Sexual harassment, exploitation, intimate content, sexual solicitation and using PlayLocal primarily for sexual contact are prohibited.
Privacy
Do not publish another person's address, phone number, workplace, private messages or other private information without permission.
Fraud and spam
Do not impersonate others, request suspicious payments, harvest data, distribute malware or send repetitive unsolicited promotions.
Sportsmanship
Communicate cancellations, avoid repeated no-shows, respect venue staff and equipment, and apply eligibility settings consistently and respectfully.
Reporting and enforcement
Use reporting and blocking tools honestly. PlayLocal may remove content, cancel listings, restrict features, suspend accounts or permanently close accounts depending on severity and history. Contact emergency services where someone is in immediate danger.
