1. Operator and contact
Adam Montebello trading as The Cultured Collector operates PlayLocal. Privacy contact: info@culturedcollector.com.au.
2. Information collected
PlayLocal may collect account details, profile details, date of birth, calculated age, gender, suburb, sports, skill levels, availability, profile photos, game listings, join requests, invitations, participation and attendance information, messages, notifications, reports, blocks and support or diagnostic information.
3. How information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, confirm users are adults, display profiles, recommend nearby games, enforce game restrictions, manage participation, provide communications, investigate safety reports, prevent abuse and improve reliability.
4. Visibility
Other users may see profile and participation information relevant to the feature. Full date of birth is private. Host contact details are intended only for the host and approved participants. PlayLocal does not require an exact home address.
5. Providers and overseas processing
PlayLocal uses providers such as Supabase, Expo, Google and app-store operators for hosting, authentication, storage, maps, builds, notifications and distribution. Information may be processed outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where providers operate. PlayLocal does not sell personal information.
6. Permissions
Location and photo permissions are requested only when relevant to a feature. Future contact-picker functionality should not upload the address book to PlayLocal.
7. Security and retention
PlayLocal uses authentication, row-level security, private storage and trusted server-side functions. Information is retained only while reasonably needed for service delivery, safety, disputes, legal obligations and protection of users.
8. Account deletion
Delete your account through Profile, Account. Login, private profile data, preferences, messages, join requests, friendships, blocks and notifications are removed. Future hosted games are cancelled. Some de-identified or historical records may remain where reasonably necessary.
9. Access, correction and complaints
Update most information in the app or contact info@culturedcollector.com.au for access, correction or privacy complaints. You may also be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
10. Changes
Material changes are versioned and may require renewed acknowledgement.
